Stefánia Avenue became a genuine motorsport arena as around 40,000 spectators enjoyed the spectacular program of the Red Bull Showrun across two days. The event showcased the full spectrum of technical sports, from two-wheeled machines and drift cars all the way to the pinnacle of racing, Formula 1.
Naturally, the F1 cars drew the most attention. Red Bull Racing and Visa Cash App Racing Bulls brought two former championship-winning RB7 machines to the Hungarian capital. The demo cars were driven on the city circuit by former F1 drivers David Coulthard and Patrick Friesacher. In the grand finale, Coulthard waved a Hungarian flag to thank the enthusiastic fans. “This is more than motorsport – it’s a real festival. The Budapest crowd always provides such a special experience,” said the 13-time Grand Prix winner.
The drift show earned equally thunderous applause: Mad Mike, in his first-ever Budapest appearance, teamed up with the Driftbrothers to fill the street with tire smoke, while Sam Sam wowed the audience with daring tricks – even climbing into the engine bay mid-show.
Motorbike fans also had plenty to cheer for as stunt rider Aras and former MotoGP racer Jonas Folger delivered breathtaking performances.
The Red Bull Showrun once again proved that whether it’s F1 cars, drift battles, or motorcycle stunts, bringing technology closer to the fans always creates an unforgettable experience.
