The concession for the Monza circuit has been extended until the end of 2044, while the Automobile Club plans to invest €12 million in the facility. A new agreement between the Villa Reale and Monza Park Consortium, the Automobile Club d’Italia, and Autodromo Nazionale Monza was signed in Monza on Tuesday, August 4, 2026.
The agreement amends and restructures the duration of the facility’s concession, which will now remain valid until December 31, 2044. As a result, the Brianzan circuit will continue to operate under the supervision of the Automobile Club for almost two decades, with the organization allocating €12 million to various improvements and interventions at the venue.
The document was signed by Paolo Pilotto, president of the Villa Reale and Monza Park Consortium and mayor of Monza, along with Bartolomeo Corsini, the consortium’s director general.
On behalf of Automobile Club d’Italia president Geronimo La Russa, General Tullio Del Sette, a member of ACI’s national board of directors, also signed the agreement, as did Giuseppe Redaelli, president of SIAS-Autodromo Nazionale Monza.
Monza has hosted the Italian Grand Prix since 1950, with 75 races having been held at the circuit so far. This year’s event will take place at the legendary venue on September 6. Monza’s Formula 1 contract runs until 2031, with the latest agreement having been signed in November 2024.
