Gasly and Colapinto Greeted F1 Fans in Downtown Budapest

While most fans are focused on the Hungarian Grand Prix and the Hungaroring these days, the truly passionate F1 fans aren’t missing out on the side events either. On July 23, 2026, the BWT Alpine F1 Team held a meet-and-greet event at the Time Out Market in Budapest, where the two drivers, Pierre Gasly and Franco Colapinto, greeted the fans.

At the PR event, fans had the chance to take photos with replica helmets by the drivers and purchase some memorabilia. The luckiest fans also managed to snag autographed caps, as Gasly and Colapinto tossed a few signed items into the crowd from the balcony of the Time Out Market.

At the end of the event, the Alpine drivers said they were impressed by the atmosphere that greeted them, and they aim to repay the fans’ enthusiasm with strong point-scoring finishes at Sunday’s Hungarian Grand Prix at the Hungaroring.
