At the start of the new year, Toyota Racing broke the winter break with their FIA WEC presentation. The Japanese manufacturer renamed the team and the car, as well they are back with an epic livery, which was raced in Le Mans 2025.
The team’s name changed from Toyota Gazoo Racing to Toyota Racing, in this way the new hypercar will be running as TR010 HYBRID.
All the drivers stayed in cars #7 with Mike Conway, Kamui Kobayashi, Nyck de Vries and #8 with Sebastien Buemi, Brendon Hartley, Rio Hirakawa.
Toyota Racing GmbH will continue to support Gazoo Racing’s activities by supplying engines for rally vehicles and producing GT4 cars. GR through activities such as its participation in the FIA WRC and customer motorsports with the GR YARIS Rally2 and GR Supra GT4.
