Strategy in Focus – One Pit Stop

Tyre strategy played a key role as most front-runners opted for a one-stop race plan. Drivers started on medium tyres and switched to hard compounds for the final stint, aiming to manage tyre degradation while minimizing time lost in the pits. The virtual safety car periods also influenced strategy, allowing some drivers to pit with less time loss. George Russell executed the one-stop strategy effectively early, maintaining track position and tyre pace in the closing laps to secure the victory.
