Norris takes stunning pole ahead of Antonelli and Leclerc

In a dramatic Brazil GP F1 qualifying session in Sao Paolo, Lando Norris delivered a brilliant lap to claim pole position. Early exits shocked the paddock as Verstappen dropped out in Q1, while Bearman, Leclerc, and Antonelli showed impressive pace. The McLarens bounced back strongly, with Norris leading the way and Piastri only fourth on the grid.

Q1

The track was dry for the qualifying. After the crash in the Sprint Race, Piastri and Colapinto backed to track, but Bortoleto miss out the session. Firstly almost all drivers started to use the softs, Bearman, Antonelli, Hamilton and Russell set the pace. Norris was 5th only this time. The track got better as the flying laps were completeing. It meant a true thrilling final minutes. Norris was the fastest, Verstappen out in the Q1!

Q2

Bearman again topped the chart ahead of Piastri and Norris after the first shots. After a while the Mercedeses broke the Papaya duo, and came to 2nd and 4th in order by Antonelli and Russell. Leclerc improved a lot and jumped to the leader group, while Norris completed his fastest lap and came for 1st, Piastri 5th only.

Q3

Piastri seemed faster than Leclerc by 0.002s after the first flying lap. Bearman was standing 3rd followed by Antonelli and Russell. Norris made a mistake in the start of the lap and was not too strong. Norris by 1:09.511 made a magical lap ahead of Leclerc and Piastri. Then Antonelli geared up and finished behind Norris. Between the two McLarens there are two cars. Norris set the pole position, Piastri 4th only.
