George Russell delivered a masterclass under the lights of the F1 Singapore Grand Prix, leading confidently ahead of Max Verstappen and Lando Norris. The result sealed McLaren’s Constructors’ Championship. Race reports above.

Start
Russell saved the first position, Verstappen came 2nd, Norris overtook Piastri for 3rd. Two McLarens knocked, and Norris’ front wing was damaged a bit. Leclerc had a great start, the Ferrari driver jumped up to 5th.
Lap 5
Russell led the race, around 3-seconds-advantage in front of Verstappen. Meanwhile McLaren was reviewing the incident between their drivers.
Lap 12-14
Verstappen reported a gear shift problem, Russell’s advantage was around 6 seconds, however Norris was closing the gap from the back. On lap 14 Norris hit the wall from the right side of the car.
Lap 20
Verstappen pitted from 2nd, Norris stayed out.
Lap 26
The race leader Russell made a pit stop.
Lap 27
Norris pitted and came back to 4th behind Verstappen by 5 seconds. At the end of the lap, Piastri completed the tyre change, which was a bit slower.
After the leading group changed the tyres, the order recovered: Russell, Verstappen, Norris, Piastri and Leclerc in top 5.
Lap 36
Verstappen made a mistake at one brakepoint and lost 1.8 seconds, therefore Norris closed the gap from behind.
Lap 45-50
Verstappen and Norris caught up to the lapped drivers, which meant less than 1 second between the 2nd and 3rd position.
Lap 53-61
Norris started to fight with Verstappen for the 2nd position. The Briton was close for many times, but the overtaking did not succeed.
Lap 62
Russell wins the race, Verstappen finishes 2nd and Norris 3rd and Piastri 4th.
This result means McLaren won the Constructors’ championship in 2025. While Norris scored 3 points on Piastri.
